Why Teachers Day are celebrated

First Reading Respones

Reading Response – “The Gift of the Magi” by O. Henry In “The Gift of the Magi,” O. Henry tells the touching story of a young couple, Jim and Della, who sacrifice their most prized possessions to buy each other Christmas gifts. I found this story both heartwarming and sad because it shows how deep love can lead people to give up what matters most to them. Even though their gifts become useless, the act of giving reveals the true meaning of generosity and love. I think O. Henry wanted readers to see that the value of a gift lies not in its price but in the thought behind it. Personally, the story made me reflect on how modern society often focuses too much on material gifts instead of the feelings that inspire them.
